Creative iPod Speaker System

playdock-i500.jpgCreative has added a couple more iPod accessories to their repertoire of MP3 player speaker systems. It is interesting to see Creative, the pioneers of everything anti-iPod, to finally give in and release some iPod speaker systems like every other damn company out there. The PlayDock i500 (pictured) has a subwoofer, remote and can charge the iPod. The TravelSound is a smaller version of the i500 and can be battery powered. Is this a sign of Creative waving the white flag? Slow down, Apple haters, I was exaggerating and speculating. The Zen music players aren’t too shabby.

Enviro-Friendly Enano PC Claims To Be World’s Smallest

The word Enano, as I learned it, actually means dwarf. But, we imagine the company probably had a different connotation in mind, perhaps more like “small or tiny”. Whatever the case, Enano Computers are indeed damn small, and energy efficient to boot. Matter of fact, that’s their whole point: some models consume as little as 20-25W, around as much as a laptop, and much less than an average desktop. They’re also tiny, at 6 X 6 X 2 inches. The company is proud to have achieved such low power consumption, and are positioning their products to attract the environmentally conscious crowd.

Not only are the Enano PC’s small, they pack half decent features too, running mostly Intel Core2 Duo processors, between 512MB and 1 Gig of RAM and between 40GB and 120GB of hard drive space. Sure, we’re not talking high-end gaming rigs here, but it’s not everyone that’s after that. If you’re looking for decently priced ($750 to $1,300), green and tiny PC’s, Enano sure sounds like it should be worth a look.

Heard About iPhone?

I won’t consider myself too late mentioning about the latest Macintosh buzz, as DesiBaba just came back online.

But two days ago, Apple launched iPhone….a PDA with inbuilt wide iPod, a never seen before touch panel, beautiful 3.5-inch widescreen display, Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR, 4GB/8GB memory space and all the things that will make you go crazy for this phone. Undoubtedly, it’s a revolutionary cell phone. I bet you would want to get your hands on one as soon as possible. :)

This is what Mac has to say about iPhone

“iPhone combines three products – a revolutionary mobile phone, a widescreen iPod with touch controls, and a breakthrough Internet communications device with desktop-class email, web browsing, maps, and searching – into one small and lightweight handheld device. iPhone also introduces an entirely new user interface based on a large multi-touch display and pioneering new software, letting you control everything with just your fingers. So it ushers in an era of software power and sophistication never before seen in a mobile device, completely redefining what you can do on a mobile phone.”

So, we have a new generation of phones with inbuilt mp3 player and internet access. The trendy stylish looks really adds the glamour to this phone. Didd i just hear you say “iPhone is the best ever cell phone you saw?” Actually, even i think so. ;)

However i also do read this on the bottom page on apple.com

“This device has not been authorized as required by the rules of the Federal Communications Commission. This device is not, and may not be, offered for sale or lease, or sold or leased, until authorization is obtained. ”

Obviously it’s not available yet. But apple.com has it featured on it’s homepage and this hot iPhone will soon be ruling the cell phone world. Will be keeping you updated with this one. It really can’t be missed!!! ;)
