Maruti Swift Dzire
We at Desibaba love this new car from Maruti Udyog Ltd which has been named as Maruti Swift Dzire. It’s a Maruti’s new car in sedan segment, replacing the 14 year old and very famous Maruti Esteem. You heard that right. Maruti Esteem will no more be available in the Indian market as the company has retired it’s production after a long served 14 years.
Anyways, the new sedan excitement is the Maruti Swift Desire which is a better version or a sedan version of Maruti Swift. Maruti Swift has already won heart of many and has been dominating the small car segment market in the recent year. We at Desibaba, do not expect anything different for Maruti Swift Dzire. It looks different than many, and has features good enough to make it a hot selling car in India, at least in the same sedan segment and it’s class.
Maruti Suzuki Dzire comes in both petrol and diesel segment. But unlike many in the same segment of cars, Maruti Swift Dzire offers luxury feature options like integrated stereo, steering mounted audio controls, automatic climate control and power windows. It also comes with safety features like Dual Airbags, ABS with EDB, collapsible steering column and an i-CATS anti-theft facility. Many of these features are being offered for the first time in this segment.
The petrol version of DZire comes with a 1.3 litre, 16 valve, ALTec 32 engine, with a maximum 87 bhp at 6000 rpm. The diesel version comes with the 1.3 litre DDiS engine, offering a torque of 190 Nm at 2000 rpm.
DZire is offered in seven colors: Arctic White, Silky Silver, Clear Beige, Midnight Black, Bright Red, Azure Gray and Sovereign Blue.
